I came to Aid page seeking a little assistance and have recieved a few pieces of advice actually worth something and to those poeple I appreciate your kind thoughts. What I have mainly recieved is bogus scam emails from UK and Africa and to those people I have one thing to say: Karma is a Bitch and it gonna smack you hard someday, so remember these words and GET A CLUE. I will be praying hard for those in need and even harder for those evil, lazy leeches of society that someday they find a productive path to take in this life and if they don't, excuse me, may they suffer 10000x the suffering they have caused others in this life. On a personal note I have graduated Truck Driving School and await my chance to take my State CDL test. When I acquire my liscense I start working for a reputable trucking company and will be able to support myself again. I am in the hole but will have a new profession to dig my OWN way out, no thanks to anyone but myself as no financial assistance was gain from posting on this site. My advice is don't come here looking for a handout: you won't get it. You want to make it? There is only one person that is going to do it and that is YOURSELF!!!

Update on my situation. I have started truck driving school and have gotten my CDL class A permit after the second day. I have 3 weeks of school before I graduate and start working for USA Truck. My mortgage starts foreclosure proceedings that same day. I will be $2,156.37 in arrears. I have checked into getting help from the government. The government just seems to be sending me in circles, saying provide proof of employment and I tell them I cannnot until it is too late. They then tell me they can not help me until I provide proof. (hence running in circles) The timing of this is very bad and by time I get the help the foreclusure will have gone to court. If there is anyone out there that can help me avoid this I would appreciate it very much. Even if 1000 people sent me $2 I would be able to avoid this. I am not trying to pull a fast one I am asking for help in my time of need and am wondering if there are REAL people out there that are willing to help me. I have had several attempts to scam me from people sending checks and them being fakes. I truly wonder if there is a real person that is generous enough to help me in return for me paying the favor forward or a loan to be paid back.

thank you all for your postings. I guess there is no help for me until I fall farther in my hole. I was hoping to avoid losing my home but the only offers I have gotten have been bogus trying to screw me harder than I already am.

Robert, Do not accept or try to cash thatcheck. It is a scam. I too was offered similar offers from people and found out the hard way that it was a scam. What they are doing is stealing peoples bank account information, then printing fake checks thinking that the bnks will cash them. What actually happens is when you deposit the check into your bank account,then withdraw so much money to forward on to the next person, you eventually end up with an overdraft in your account. The person that they want you to send the money to is in on the scam and they send hadl of what you send to them on to another person. I didnt actually deposit the money into my account, instead, I went to the bank in which the check was supposedly on, where they told me that it was a fake and a scam. If someone ever offers to send you a donation and asks you to forward or send part to someone else, dont because it is all a scam. Like people told me, if it sounds to good to be true, then it is probably too good to be true. I lived through false hope of having help with my bills and Christmas, only to have my hopes and dreams shattered by these types of people, and yes, they are very heartless. How to protect ourselves from scammers

I have been approached by a person from england Richard Morris who has promised me a donation of $800. we corresponded a couple times and now he has told me he is sending me a check for $3200 and I need to cash it and then western union the difference to someone in need of a heart transplnt operation. He said he was browsing my profile and wanted to help. If this is a scam and he has approached other let me know. If it is a scam that is just low for someone to prey on those of us who are truly in need. If not I apologize. I figure my way around the situation is to wait for the check to clear and then forward the money on to the next person. I find it suspicious that he want me to do so same day I cash it. Any responses on this matter appreciated.

Hello everyone, still no luck on acquiring a job or car, I thought I should put a faces to me pleas for help.. If there is anyone out there willing to sponsor me for volunteer work anywhere throughout the world. I feel compelled to help the less fortunate as I am becoming one of them. I would much rather travel to a foreign land and pitch in and help others than to become homeless or worse. I am an excellent chef I just lack the culinary degree to get a job at this time. I have lookied into federal grants but lack the money and knowledge to swim through the mountains of paprework to recieve said grants. I have no transportation so getting to a job if I do find it is difficult as I do not live near any bus lines. If there are those out there that can help it will be appreciated. I had one individual promise me a small amount of money to help me in this time of need, yet have still to recieve it. I would like to trade my skills in the kitchen for room and board or would like to be sponsored as a volunteer overseas if possible.

Do you live in the northwest state of AR? If so I know a place that gives free rent in exchange for work done on the home they will be living in.

Well here is my update. I had to return my rental car, due to lack of funds and no I have defaulted my used car due to lack of employment. I have not heard back from the 2 restaurant management positions for second interview. I am at the last of my finances and have about 1 week worth of food left. I have failed to pay any of my bills. Without a form of transportation I am unable to apply to new jobs due to my location, lack of bus service. I have tried to find more volunteer services that would transport me and supply room and board in exchange for work to no success, all want money to voulunteer. If there is anyone out there that needs a skilled chef, without a culinary degree please contact me and help me to get back on my feet. Is there anyone out there in excess that is willing to help me attain a degree while supplying me with a home to live in and transportation. I am a really nice man and only want to better myself. I am willing to repay any help offered and am willing to do whatever you need in return ie: cleaning, cooking other services. I am desperate and have nowhere to turn. I see noway out and am hoping there is someone out there willing to help me out of my situation. I have applied to cruise line jobs in hopes of employment as well. I do not qualify for any government help that I have been able to find either. I fear that maybe my time and purpose is done on the world and it may be time to move on if there is no help to be found.

Is there anyone out there willing to give this holiday season to help someone in need. I dont need alot I just need enough to get me by until my job search is successful.
